Welcome to Me and The Roads, the Java road-building game.If you've ever wished youcould run a transportation department and make the highways go where youwant, this is the closest you'll get to doing it.You'll be in charge of highway planning for Lingwoo,a new 240-square mile island of about 15 small towns.Your tools are:- electronic road map of the island, with pan and zoom- highway log (inventory and routing of all numbered highways)- intersection viewer (3-D perspective view of any intersection)- rename tool (renumber any highway, rename any street or town)- paver (pave new roads or tear up existing ones)In this version of the game, time and money are in infinite supply.There's no "object" yet; just rework the highway systemuntil it's perfect, or you get tired of playing.Lingwoo comes up different every time you play, providing new challengesand starting points.You don't start with a blank slate. Lingwoo's previous highwayplanner paved about 200 miles of roads, with about a dozen numberedroutes. However, as you'll see, the network doesn't serve the townsas well as it should.
